Overview
Colliers Engineering & Design is looking for a Transportation Leader who will be responsible for the professional, technical, management, marketing, administrative and financial aspects of the Highway and Bridge Group. Expand CED’s Highway and Bridge services into clients such as TxDOT and municipal government. The Regional Transportation Leader shall perform duties in support of the Bridges & Structures discipline and region.
Our team of experts has completed projects in both urban and rural settings, ranging from minor geometric upgrades to billon dollar corridor improvements. We provide roadway and bridge design services throughout the United States with projects ranging from simple intersection improvements to large scale corridor projects including complex interchanges and system-to-system connecting interchanges. Our team specializes in high end modeling, design, and analysis of our country’s infrastructure and we are looking for your help to expand this expertise into Texas.

Responsibilities
- Provides leadership, managerial direction and guidance for the region to achieve established goals.
- Directs overall productivity, profitability, client satisfaction and quality of work.
- Responsible for discipline marketing and business development of new and existing clients.
- Actively involved in the cross selling of all company services.
- Responsible for billings and collections.
- Works with the geographic discipline leaders on resource sharing and staffing needs.
- Responsible for regional training and staff development.
- Monitor staff utilization regularly and take corrective action if necessary.
- Complies with and ensures others compliance with all CED policies and procedures, including but not limited to the Health and Safety Program.
- Travels (via car or airplane) regularly to the various regions and offices.
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 20 years of subsequently improving leadership and managerial experience in the industry with 10 or more years of Highway Engineering experience.
- Texas Professional licensure in area of expertise.
- Prior TxDOT related experience is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated effective leadership across large groups of employees.
- History of effective Business Development with clients not familiar with firm.
- History of building/hiring effective teams.
- Excellent communication skills.

- Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
