Colliers Securities is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join the accounting team supporting our securities, underwriting, and trading business. This position will play an integral role in leading the Colliers Securities accounting team. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, strategic thinker with strong leadership skills. They will take initiative in driving process improvements and foster a collaborative, results-driven culture within the team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage month-end close, preparation of internal financial statements and reports
* Direct and review work of accounting team
* Prepare monthly and quarterly regulatory reporting
* Develop budgets, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed
* Prepare and review work papers for independent auditors
* Ad hoc reporting and financial analysis including development of financial models
* Procedure and process development and improvement
* Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; equivalent work experience in accounting or finance may be considered in lieu of a degree
* 6 years of accounting or finance experience
* CPA, active or inactive, preferred
* FINOP Series 27 or 28 or willingness to obtain, preferred
* Experience in the finance, securities, or banking industry, preferred
* Public accounting experienced, preferred
JOB EXPECTATIONS
Regular and reliable attendance required, including 2 to 3 in-office days per week. This is a full-time position. Workdays are Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position supervises an Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant.

Approximate Salary Range for this Role: $150,000-$175,000
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
