About you
You are an expert in talent acquisition and headhunting. You work proactively to identify fantastic sales individuals for roles across an array of specialties in Commercial Real Estate. You thrive on building dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and your colleagues within Recruitment. You are confident in your abilities to partner with our growing business across multiple US Markets and at times, nationally.
You guide local leaders through the recruitment process, yet you are also comfortable working in ambiguous situations. You are a true hunter, leaning into the key aspects of the role which include perseverance, consistency, speed, and communication. You embrace new approaches and challenges, working closely with other experts and honing your craft through professional development, to help lead our industry into the future.
In this role, you will...
- Develop strong relationships across your business lines with your US Market Leaders and understand their vision for their team, communicating with them on a regular cadence.
- You will be strategic, incorporating direct feedback while also 'reading between the lines' to understand the needs of your markets.
- You will engage both passive and active candidates to get them excited about opportunities at Colliers and then work closely with local market leadership to get them across the line for hire.
- You will stay up to date on trends, developments, and industry activity. You know the competitive landscape and can provide relevant information to the business.
- You will build and maintain a network of warm candidates through proactive research and on-going relationship management.
- You are organized and motivated to track your success to help illustrate value and the need for continued individual career and overall team growth.
- You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment with periodic travel to meet team and stakeholders.
What you'll bring
- 5 years of progressive and proven recruiting, sourcing, and candidate research experience.
- Background managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships.
- Proactive by nature with strong consulting skills.
- Sound candidate engagement approach with ability to activate passive candidates.
- A power user of all social media, especially LinkedIn.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (preferably Workday).
- Commercial real estate recruitment experience.
- Multi-market recruitment background and/or sales recruitment experience.
