Collin Central Appraisal District is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Litigation Associate. The Litigation Associate is responsible for providing assistance in relation to all aspects of appraisal district functions and the property tax system, pertaining to litigation.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Schedule and attend all settlement conferences, mediations, depositions, and trials as applicable.
· Prepare, research, maintain and process lawsuits within litigation database and CAMA software.
· High level of communication with the District’s attorney staff on a daily basis with regard to offers, appraisal reports, trial exhibits, etc.
Education and Experience:
· College level degree with emphasis in real estate, finance, economics, mathematics, business administration
and/or an appraisal designation is preferred.
· RPA designation is required.
· Minimum 5 years of mass appraisal experience.
· Appraisal district experience related to real estate or ad valorem tax appraisal experience.
· Must have reliable transportation, a valid Texas driver’s license, and proof of auto liability insurance.
