This position works under the direct supervision of the Data Manager. The Compliance and Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for supporting and maintaining the organization’s legal and ethical integrity through procedure/process development and enforcement and supporting continuous improvement activities through evaluation of service data and quality assurance initiatives. The Compliance and Quality Assurance Analyst supports the organization’s business activities to ensure continuous legal and regulatory compliance with regulatory standards and recommended best practices. The Compliance and Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for report generation and interpretation to include data collection, analysis, and dissemination. The Compliance and Quality Assurance Analyst maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional development activities and trainings.
Demonstrate the company’s commitment to ethical business practices and all compliance requirements including contractual agreements, HIPAA, HITECH, HB 300 and all related privacy and fraud and abuse laws and regulations. Draft and update procedures for consideration by the Director. Provide ongoing resources and advice to team and management relating to compliance and quality assurance issues. Take ownership of assigned system implementations and management in support of compliance and quality assurance programs. Support ongoing initiatives to increase awareness of existing, new, or changing policies, regulations, etc.
Qualifications
Previous experience with data collection and analysis required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Community Center experiences preferred.
Basic knowledge of managed care environment.
• Proficient in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proficient in Power BI and similar data collection, manipulation, and presentation applications.
• Self-starter who consistently meets deadlines, can prioritize, multi-task and be flexible.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Good research skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and communicate effectively orally and in writing with a variety of professionals and individuals receiving services/family members.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Understanding and proficiency in SharePoint or like systems.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, clearly, effectively, and professionally.
• Skills in data analysis and problem solving.
