The Intensive Services Clinical Supervisor works under the supervision of the Program Administrator—Intensive services and is responsible for assignment of services within the Assertive Community Treatment (Act), LOC 3, Intake and Living Room Programs and will ensure services provided are in accordance with all state, HHSC, TAC, and grant reporting requirements. Supervisor serves as the expert in all service delivery and can train, model, and oversee all service delivery in the office and community. This position is responsible for linking individuals to appropriate natural and community resources to meet ongoing needs and assisting them to navigate appropriate service options available. Duties include monitoring adult counseling/intakes; assigning caseload to team members as needed; and ensuring individuals being served are getting services per UM guideline recommendations. Ensures individuals receive timely access to quality care; works with LifePath crisis team, contracted facilities, and other community organizations to identify needs and reduce crisis episodes; and helps individuals in services establish a primary care relationship to address their medical needs.
Supervisor provides regular individual and group coaching to ACT, LOC 3, intake and Living room workforce members as needed, to ensure fidelity is being met, and that workforce members are maintaining service provision and documentation standards. Supervision will consist of observation and regular discussion with team members regarding areas in which they need additional clinical guidance. Supervisor will also provide clinical supervision to LPC-Associates. Supervisor will maintain a caseload and will provide a full-service array as allowed by credentials and will also cover team members’ caseloads as needed. Supervisor will be responsible for managing on-call schedule and will serve in the on-call rotation to provide 24/7 crisis coverage for individuals served. Supervisor will also be responsible for approving paid time off requests and the bi-weekly timesheets of team members. Supervisor ensures effective communication in all areas including provider operations and performance. Supervisor is also responsible for coordinating interdisciplinary team meetings as needed. Supervisor will ensure that NOMS are completed for appropriate individuals following grant standards and will complete all required data collection and team reports. This position will seek opportunities for continuous quality improvement and program growth to meet the unique and complex needs of intensive services in Collin County. The supervisor will promote a trauma-informed, culturally and linguistically appropriate work environment ensuring all services are provided in a trauma-informed, person- and family-centered manner within the Intensive Services program. Additionally:
- Care Coordination
- Ensure individuals receiving services get timely access to quality care. This includes and is not limited to assessment of needs, referrals completed, and follow-up
- Understands and implements trauma- informed care practices.
- Encourages collaboration, healthy boundaries, and positive relationships within the team. Ensures workforce interacts with peers in a positive, encouraging, and professional manner.
- Shares ideas and techniques as well as clinical expertise with team members. Willing to explain and teach information to fellow team members.
- Sets a positive example of appropriate behavior for workforce members and community partners with effective and efficient coordination.
- Supervises team productivity, timeliness, schedules, and quality of services on a routine basis and ensures team members receive additional training as needed. Hiring new employees, completing performance reviews, monitoring, and addressing performance issues, ensuring compliance, reviewing/approving time sheets and time-off requests, arranging for adequate coverage of staff. Works with PA regarding any admin needs resulting from team not fulfilling requirements.
- Conducts regular team meetings to promote cohesiveness and service oversight. Meetings have clear training agendas with sign-in sheets and minutes.
Qualifications
Education, Training and Experience (including licensure and certification)
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, nursing or related field from a four-year college or university that meets the Texas Administrative Code for requirements for a Qualified Mental Health Professional- Clinical Services (QMHP-CS).
• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related fields with unrestricted license as LPC, LCSW, or LMFT preferred.
• Must have at least three years of clinical experience in the treatment of individuals with mental illness and/or substance abuse disorders.
• 2 years leadership or supervisory experience highly preferred.
• Experience with Assertive Community Treatment highly preferred.

Salary : $72,000
