Position Summary
The Dietary Aide is responsible for serving appropriate diets as ordered in the healthcare dining rooms and/or tray service. This aide will ensure that daily HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points) logs and other daily paperwork are completed. The aide will also ensure the cleaning and sanitation of kitchenettes, dining rooms, refrigerators, and any other general area used by culinary services staff.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Serves meals according to diets as ordered; includes preparing mechanically altered.
- Develops relationships with residents.
- Cleans and sanitizes kitchen and dining room.
- Set up tables before meals and breaks down tables/carts after meals.
- Washes dishes and keeps dish temperature log.
- Transports food and supplies from the main kitchen to the kitchenettes.
- Keeps HACCP logs – temperatures, cleaning logs, calibration logs
- Attends in-services/ and completes competencies in a timely manner.
- Communicates with supervisor when a work order needs to be placed.

Available Shifts:
- Position 1 - Week 1: (Sun - 6:30 AM - 7:30 PM), (Thur & Fri - 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM) Week 2 (Mon, Tue, Fri & Sat - 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM)
- Position 2 - Week 1: (Mon & Sat 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM) Week 2: Sun - 6:30 AM - 7:30 PM, Wed 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM, Fri 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM)
