Collins Adult Residential is seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Direct Service Providers (DSPs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team. Our caregivers provide essential assistance to individuals with disabilities, the elderly, and those in need of day-to-day care.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Help with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
Administer medications and monitor health conditions (under supervision).
Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and report changes in client condition.
Follow care plans and document client progress accurately.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
CNA certification (required for CNA role).
Previous experience as a DSP, CNA, or in-home caregiver is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor clients' physical, emotional, and mental well-being, and report any concerns to the care team.
Foster a positive, safe, and supportive environment for clients.
Help clients participate in community activities, social events, and recreational opportunities.
Follow care plans designed to meet each client's specific needs and goals.
Document care and progress notes in accordance with company policies.
Requirements:
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (for CNA applicants).
High School Diploma or GED (for DSP applicants).
Experience in caregiving, home health, or direct care (preferred but not required).
Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
