We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and providing strategic insights to support business decision-making. This individual will collaborate with senior leadership, business units, and cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and support the company’s long-term financial goals.
This position will be onsite in Troy, Ohio.
What You Will Do
- Managing the financial planning, analysis, and management reporting for the Landing Systems business unit, delivering real-time insights into emerging trends in business performance and costs, and providing actionable insights for the Landing Systems portfolio.
- Requires advanced business knowledge, general management, and leadership capability to lead business or functional teams.
- Experience developing annual / strategic financial and investment plans, driving rigorous forecasting and variance process, and developing mitigation strategies to achieve financial results.
- Ability to collaborate with senior leaders across various functions and product areas for plan / forecast / action item closure.
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible in a changing business environment and highly responsive to Corporation / Business Unit requested analysis, briefings, and data calls.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
- Prior experience in an FP&A role.
- Prior management experience leading / managing employees.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience working Aerospace / Defense programs.
- Ability to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements.
- Working knowledge of SAP and other industry standard financial tools
- CPA or MBA preferred
