The Inspection Technician I – 1st Shift is responsible for the inspection of raw, uncoated, and coated glass, and is required to follow the customer print to make sure all parts are in spec, and meet all customer needs.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00AM-4:30PM

The Inspection Technician I – 1st Shift is responsible for the inspection of raw, uncoated, and coated glass, and is required to follow the customer print to make sure all parts are in spec, and meet all customer needs.
What You Will Do:
- Performs a variety of moderately complex inspection tasks and/or evaluates manufacturing processes and procedures following Collins Aerospace Quality Management System and Workmanship Standards.
- Required to use measuring device/inspection tools to verify specifications.
- Evaluates products, processes and procedures using drawings, work instructions and quality operating procedures to ensure conformance.
- Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- Requires a HS Diploma or GED. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
- Minimum one year of inspection experience or
- Minimum two years of production experience or
- Secondary degree
- Ability to potentially get moved to 2nd shift
- Ability to work weekends if necessary
