Work consists of Machine Setup and Changeovers with minimal supervision and good problem solving skills. Work is performed on Horizontal CNC Machines and requires excellent knowledge of G and M code, Setting Work Offsets and use of Probes and various measurement gages to verify conformance to quality standards

Location:

  • This position is currently located in Hampton, NH, but the facility will be relocating to Durham, NH in 2025

Compensation:

  • $1,500 Sign on Bonus*
  • Eligible for Annual Increases

2nd Shift Schedule:

  • This position is for 2nd shift, but could require training on 1st shift for up to a month
  • Monday – Friday 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
  • Overtime available on a business need basis.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • You will interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering plans, specifications, reference planes, designs sketches and geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) for operation, material, and dimensional requirements.
  • You will apply advanced skills to the development of concepts and techniques. Completes highly complex tasks in creative and effective ways.
  • You will consistently work on a variety of highly complex tasks requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to resolve highly complex problems.
  • You will make recommendations for new procedures.
  • You will take measurements of material and selects appropriate machines for the process.
  • You will perform machining setups and makes adjustments as required.
  • You will conduct inspections of work produced.
  • You will check SPC charts for frequency of checks, gauging and measurements.
  • You will keep records and maintains quality/safety standards.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a HS diploma or GED with 4 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a diploma or GED, 6 years of relevant experience required.
