The Mechanical Manufacturing Technician I role at Collins Aerospace is an exciting opportunity to start your career in the aerospace industry. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for learning and training on various calibration operations, preparing and assembling components, and operating production equipment to ensure quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate test stands to check nozzles, spray bars, and valves for spray quality, angle, and flow according to specifications.
- Learn how to set up and operate laser markers and printers according to procedures and specifications.
- Record spray parameters by serial number, certify product conformance through test and records performance results by serial number.
- Maintain accurate production documentation and perform necessary labor transitions.
- Support and follow all rules/guidelines/standards set by EHS, Quality, and CI functions as set by your leader and position.
