We are looking for a Precision Parts Operator to join our team at Collins Aerospace. As a Precision Parts Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating precision manual and/or computerized machining centers according to standard work.
Job Summary:
- Set up and operate precision manual and/or computerized machining centers.
- Adjust machine feed/spindle speeds and change tooling and cutters per machining operation.
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Understand and follow quality testing techniques.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Manufacturing Documentation and Labor Transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Work under immediate supervision to obtain certification.
- Follow established standard work practices under immediate supervision.
- Refer problems or deviations to more experienced operators including Lead Technicians, supervisors or engineers.
Requirements:
- H.S. Diploma or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status).
- Manufacturing background is preferred.
- Manual dexterity to perform tasks associated with machine operations.
