The Program Industrial Specialist is customer platform level focused on delivery and production readiness. As the the Program Industrial Specialist, you will be responsible for on-time delivery for all hardware for the customer platform. You will manage multi-disciplinary teams to manage on-time delivery activities, related customer communications, support internal and external reviews, ensure production readiness and smooth production transition within Collins as well as with our suppliers and customers.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.

What You Will Do
PRODUCTION READINESS AND INDUSTRIAL ACTIVITIES
- Support supplier health assessments
- Coordinate Collins make sites and supplier capacity analyses
- Support make site and supplier production readiness reviews
- Coordinate program capital requirements for equipment and tooling
- Manage program component obsolescence
- Monitor (support) engineering activities in support of production readiness
- Monitor (support) aftermarket activities in support of production readiness
- Review engineering development plans for all hardware
- Support internal/external platform level industrial reporting
- Support Collins & Customer reviews
- Industrial risk mitigation and contingency planning
- Demand coordination
- Part sourcing transitions
- Ensure smooth production transition
- Voice of the customer to drive to closure of associated activities
- Travel domestically up to 5%
- Support/present at Program, Engineering & Customer meetings to all levels of the organization
- Support supplier calls and reviews
- Keep Operations aware of upcoming changes and delivery schedule.
- Facilitate with Operations, the on-time delivery needs of the Customer - including CRM's
- Notify Program/Engineering/Operations management of any significant issues especially those pertaining to cost, quality, schedule & transitions
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract due to the specific requirements of the USG contract, a US (non-dual) citizenship is required.
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
- Experience working on a military program
- Experience working on a development program
- Experience working with engines and/or engine components
- SAP experience
- Customer-facing experience
