This position is for an Engineering and Services Support professional (Project Analyst) to support Space Systems engineering to achieve day-to-day objectives.
Provides analytical and program support and guidance to engineers on a variety of tasks. Plans and executes experiments and gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical/analytical data. Analyzes, maintains, compiles and formats data and design changes. Produces reports and engineering documentation. Acts as the communication liaison flowing overall objectives and tracking and monitoring progress between Engineering, Value Stream Office, etc. to ensure the teams meet schedule requirements.
What You Will Do
Manage Supplier Data Requirement List (SDRL) tracking
Responsible for updating program cadence data files
Create Estimate To Complete (ETC) files
Responsible for updating and loading monthly ETC files into Integrated Status & Assessment Tool (ISAT)
Provide weekly actuals to program leads/Cost Account Manager (CAM)
Provide monthly Quantifiable Backup Data (QBD) updates to program lead/CAM
Facilitate and manage monthly variance report meetings
Create program headcount analysis reports
Complete work package requests
Utilize and compile Detailed Planning Template (DPT) forms
Provide ISAT updates to engineering program leads
Facilitate and manage weekly Risk and Opportunity (R&O) meeting
Create monthly R&O report and provide to engineering
Responsible for knowing correct processes, procedures, etc. to ensure the Space Systems programs are compliant
Support and offload engineering leads with operational aspects of the program execution
Provides tools expertise and support to Engineering: MS Office Apps, requirements capture databases, change management and tracking tools. Generates reports as required
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Experience coordinate and lead activities. Interfaces with Technicians, Engineers, Operations Project Specials (OPS), Value Stream Leaders (VSL) and Engineering Managers and Technical Project Chiefs to create/edit documentation
Experience effectively communicate with people across multiple organizations
Qualifications We Prefer
Understanding of Collins Aerospace Customer-Oriented Results & Excellence (CORE) and Collins Management System (CMS)
Experience leading engineering tasks
Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
