This position is for a professional in Services Project Management, who works independently, supports the development of project plans, schedules and budgets for projects, facilitates project tasks with various functional organizations, forecasts project revenues, tracks progress, identifies project problems, and recommends resolutions. Typical projects include Test Equipment/Repair Capability deployments supporting 3rd Party customers of our Test Solutions, along with support of our Test Equipment low cost initiatives.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Supports the development of project plans, schedules and budgets for projects under his/her responsibility to ensure adherence to the established program plan, schedule, and budget.

• Tracks progress and identifies/resolves obstacles to minimize disruption to project schedules.

• Forecasts project revenues and re-estimates project costs on a quarterly basis to monitor costs and forecast expenditure .

• Analyzes data gathered and develops solutions or alternative methods of proceeding to optimize performance.

• Maintains and presents plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project(s) to track progress and ensure that established targets are met.

• Identifies and addresses project problems and recommends resolutions to ensure the successful completion of projects.

• Facilitates project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives.

• Oversees and manages the lifecycle and operational aspects of projects, and liaises between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

• Reviews status of projects and budgets, manages schedules and prepares status reports.

• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.

• Periodic travel may be required

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

• Experience working with matrixed and cross-functional teams or having prior leadership experience.

• Experience analyzing data using Microsoft Excel or other data analysis tools.

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:

• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to convey effective direction written and verbally.

• Prior experience handling multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
