The Avionics Test Engineering organization is looking for a motivated individual to support the Melbourne Avionics Boundary Scan and Structural Test Engineering team. We’re a global engineering organization responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of manufacturing test solutions in support of the $5B Avionics strategic business unit, as well as external customers including armed services and airlines both domestic and international.
The primary responsibility of this position is to support In-Circuit Test solutions for Avionics products. Test Engineering offers an array of innovative test equipment solutions for Collins Aerospace products and programs.

The salary range for this role is 50,000 USD - 100,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

What Will You Do:
- Expert on Call (EOC) In-Circuit Test (ICT) factory support, including generating new ICT programs, updating existing ICT programs, ICT program conversions, debugging, analysis, and electronics troubleshooting
- Experience in ICT test equipment and test solutions in a manufacturing environment
- AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience or in the absence of a HS diploma, GED or AA/AS degree, 8 years of relevant experience is required or A Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and less than 2 years of relevant experience.

- Experience with Takaya ICT programming and test equipment
- Experience with HP/SEICA/Marconi ICT programming and test equipment
- Experience with Valor Process Prep software
- Experience with electronics troubleshooting
- Experience with test equipment and test solutions
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
- Solid communication skills
- Ability to take initiative
- Ability to excel in a team environment and interact with various teams
