The Associate Dean of Nursing is a pivotal role supporting the Dean of Nursing in delivering administrative and academic leadership within the nursing education programs. This position ensures the highest standards of program quality, faculty development, and operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements. As a collaborative leader, the Associate Dean works closely with faculty, staff, and clinical partners to enhance student learning outcomes and achieve program success.Minimum Qualifications : Completion of an approved registered nursing education program.Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) required.Current, unencumbered RN license in Ohio or eligibility to obtain one before employment.Experience of at least 5 years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse, two of which have been as a faculty member in a registered nursing education program.Knowledge of accreditation and regulatory requirements for nursing education programs.Strong background in clinical nursing practice.Excellent organizational and leadership skills.Meet all health requirements mandated by law (e.g., a negative tuberculosis test, etc.).The board deemed a response from the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and / or the Federal Bureau of Investigation acceptable.Available to work a flexible schedule.
