Summary
The Lawrence County Joint Vocational School District seeks a dedicated Satellite Teacher - Engineering to deliver high-quality, STEM-based instruction in an off-site educational setting. This role requires an enthusiastic educator with expertise in engineering concepts and the ability to adapt to diverse learning environments. The teacher will implement Project Lead The Way (PLTW) curriculum and prepare students for success in engineering-related career pathways.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Provide instruction in specialized subjects, fostering student understanding and interest.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance instructional practices and share resources.
- Support students with diverse learning needs, including those requiring special education services.

Requirements
- Valid Ohio teaching license or the ability to obtain one in a Science or Math-related field OR At least two (2) years of experience in an engineering-related field OR a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Ability to work in multiple district buildings and adapt to different educational environments.
- Willingness to undergo a clear criminal background check.
