What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Analyst II position at Collins Community Credit Union?
Collins Community Credit Union, a growing organization, is currently hiring for a Treasury Analyst II to join our finance team. This person will be a competitive, independent, "doer" who can problem solve and get things done through people. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with cash monitoring, budgeting, forecasting, and Asset Liability Management (ALM) modeling and reporting.
This position will be onsite at our Headquarters in Cedar Rapids.
Essential Functions:

Demonstrate enthusiastic support of corporate mission, core values and long-term objectives. Performs duties within our bylaws, regulations, Board of Directors policies, established internal and external service standards and our work procedures.

Develop and maintain consultative business relationships within the Credit Union and with third parties (vendors, examiners, auditors, etc.).

Monitoring of daily cash position reports to monitor activity, liquidity, and variance analysis.

Maintain short and long-term cash flow forecasting models and reporting.

Working with third party vendors, assists in the management of the ALM modeling initiatives including interest rate risk, liquidity risk, credit risk, and balance sheet optimization.

Analyze and interpret financial data to make recommendations on increasing profits and reducing costs and present the information in frequent reports and presentations. Contribute fully to annual budget process across all areas of the business, challenging assumptions, and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers.

Assist the CFO and Controller with preparing, reviewing, and compiling necessary documents on lists requested by auditors and examiners.

Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly and succinctly to individuals and groups both at high and detailed level, tailored appropriately to audience.

Ability to perform multiple tasks at a time with frequent interruptions and/or distractions and prioritize responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner.

Assist with special projects as directed by the CFO or Controller.

Assist with constructing, reviewing, and updating procedures in the department.

Perform back-up throughout the Finance Department as needed.

Qualifications: Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent to 3-5 years of progressive experience working within budgeting, forecasting and accounting applications.
