Collins is seeking a motivated individual to fill the role as an Engineer Diver for our Milwaukee, Wisconsin, office. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work on underwater bridge inspection projects in Wisconsin, Iowa and Michigan. Typical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs underwater and topside bridge inspections.
- Assists in the completion of inspection and assessment reports.
- Reviews and interprets plans and design drawings.
- Field work required, which could include nights and weekends.
- Documents findings and assists in the completion of inspection and assessment reports.
- Supports the development of recommendations for maintenance or repairs.
- Collaborates with senior engineers/technicians on inspections.
- Uses computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare project deliverables.
- Communicates effectively with engineering teams and project stakeholders.
- Actively observes and acts in an appropriate manner related to safety.
- Requires travel (mostly regional).
- Participates in training programs to enhance inspection skills.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited four-year university plus appropriate continuing education.
- Minimum 0-5 years of experience.
- Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) certification or ability to obtain within one year.
- Open water experience required.
- ADCI certification is a plus.

Salary : $35 - $55
