Collins offers an opportunity for a civil engineering student to gain experience in the transportation industry. The Port Arthur, TX, office has an opening for a Civil Intern position for Summer 2025. This position will be a combination of office and time in the field.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs structural inspections and prepares inspection reports.
- Prepares and/or checks structural calculations.
- Uses computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents.
- Field work will be required.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
- Junior or senior working towards a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
- Previous software experience in AutoCAD, MicroStation, Bluebeam, or Civil 3D is a plus.
- Previous software experience in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe PDF or other PDF editing software is a plus.
- A valid driver's license.
