About us
Sawmill taking hardwood and pine logs, turning them into lumber
Responsibilities:
- Operate John Deere 644K to load and unload logs and lumber
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures while operating equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating a 644K or larger loaders with handling logs
- Familiarity with mechanical operations and ability to perform basic maintenance tasks
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
