What you will be doing:
Strategic Growth Leadership:- Execute a 3-year market penetration
- Partner with supply chain teams to optimize DSD (Direct Store Delivery) networks for expanded geographic coverage
- Collaborate with R&D to develop region-specific product variations meeting Walmart’s localization requirements
- Manage item data integrity across Walmart’s digital/physical shelf requirements (1WorldSync, item360)
- Oversee flawless execution of national promotional campaigns from planning through post-event analysis
Critical Success Factors
- Year 1: Achieve distribution in 100% of Walmart U.S. regions and 25% of Canadian stores
- Year 2: Secure endcap/checklane placements in 30% of Supercenters
- Year 3: Attain category captain status in at least one bakery sub-segment
What we need from you:
Non-Negotiable Requirements:- 5 years of Walmart vendor management experience with documented success in geographic expansion
- Expertise in Retail Link, Luminate, and Walmart’s Supplier Quality Excellence Program
- P&L ownership experience with $10M accounts
- Existing relationships with Walmart Canada merchandising teams
- Experience in food/CPG category management
- Advanced proficiency in syndicated data tools (Circana/Nielsen, IRI)
- Mastery of Walmart’s item onboarding processes (DSV, NOI)
