Auto Body Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and restoration, with expertise in auto painting and welding. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles to their original condition while ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Duties

• Perform auto body repairs, including dent removal, frame straightening, and panel replacement.
• Conduct auto painting tasks, ensuring a smooth finish that meets quality standards.
• Weld components as needed to restore vehicle integrity.
• Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts for repair or replacement.
• Detail vehicles post-repair to ensure they meet customer expectations.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
• Adhere to safety protocols while handling tools and equipment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive repair, auto restoration, or related fields.
• Proficiency in auto painting techniques and the use of hand tools.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.
• Experience working in a dealership environment is a plus but not required.
• A valid driver's license is preferred.

Pay: $20.46 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
