Whether it's minor scratch and dent repair or more intricate aluminum repair or full body collision repair Ferman Collision will ensure you have everything necessary to do the job correctly, on time and within budget.
Responsibilities Include
- Surface Preparation: Preparing vehicle surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming according to established procedures.
- Masking: Applying tape, paper, and plastic coverings to protect areas of the vehicle not being painted, ensuring precise coverage and avoiding overspray.
- Spray Gun Operation: Operating spray guns to apply primers.
- Quality Inspection: Inspecting Repaired areas for imperfections prior to applying primers.
- Equipment Maintenance: Cleaning and maintaining painting equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning and prevent contamination of paint materials.
- Material Handling: Handling and storing paint and related materials safely and efficiently, including proper disposal of waste according to environmental regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborating with other members of the collision repair team, including painters, body technicians, and estimators, to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of repairs.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols and procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following hazardous material handling guidelines.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of paint usage, material inventory, and work performed for billing, tracking, and quality control purposes.
Qualifications
- Excellent understanding and experience of automotive collision repair.
- Desire to achieve Consumer Satisfaction scoring at or above company required levels.
- Excellent verbal & non-verbal skills, listening skills and ability to problem-solve.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Must have a valid US government issued Driver's License, safe driving record and eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test.
