Responsibilities Include:
- All aspects of management of the parts department including shipping and receiving of inventory.
- Ensure parts department personnel are alert, well trained, and available when needed.
- Review of all stock orders to ensure a fast-moving balanced inventory of P&A.
- Provide excellence Guests service to all of the dealership’s Guests.
- Become familiar and efficient with all phases of the computer system required for P&A management, including generating and reviewing Inventory reports.
- Ensure parts department contributes an acceptable level of gross $ net profit.
- Responsible for growing and maintaining a successful parts department to meet the needs of both internal and external guests
- Set-up and maintain a smooth running, efficient, appealing retail environment for the P&A department.
- Ensure all inventory control measures are being performed.
- Implement and execute regular staff training with the parts department team members on process and product knowledge
Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong sales and management skills.
- Experience with retail sales and inventory management.
- Previous experience in developing and coaching a high performance team.
- Knowledge and experience with Harley-Davidson P&A, and other products sold by the dealership, or the demonstrated ability to quickly learn them.
- Strong skills in Guest resolution/satisfaction.
- Present a professional and well-groomed appearance.
- Must have a valid US government-issued Driver's License with motorcycle endorsement, safe driving record and eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screening and drug test.
