What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Machine Operator position at Colmac Coil Manufacturing, Inc?
The company is seeking hard-working individuals to work in the fabrication department. Regular shifts are Monday-Friday from 2:00pm to 10:30pm with overtime as needed.
Responsibilities Include:
- Open positions include Brake Press and Tube Mill.
- Following specifications such as blueprints, design drawings, and bill of materials, and planning sequence of operations.
- Following procedures and conducting preventative maintenance programs.
- Learning the site-specific usage of different types of forklifts and how they are used in different areas for a specific job.
- Using logic and reasoning to troubleshoot and identify alternative solutions to problems.
- Participating in the continuous improvement system.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Must be proficient in all aspects of safety and demonstrate the fundamental understanding that safety comes first
- Basic math skills
- Read a tape measure
- Ability to communicate with supervisors, peers, and subordinates
