Responsibilities
- Develop and implement practice plans that focus on skill development, teamwork, and game strategy.
- Conduct daily practices and prepare the team for all scheduled games.
- Monitor and evaluate player performance, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect among players, coaches, and opponents.
- Collaborate with the head coach and other coaching staff to align team goals and strategies.
- Communicate regularly with players, parents, and school administration regarding team activities and player progress.
- Ensure compliance with all school policies, league rules, and safety regulations.
- Organize and supervise team meetings, events, and fundraising activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of player attendance, performance statistics, and other relevant information.
- 2 years of coaching experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of football techniques, strategies, and rules.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes to reach their full potential.
- Commitment to upholding the values of sportsmanship and integrity.
- Availability for practices, games, and team events during the football season.
- A valid driver’s license and the ability to transport players as needed.
