What are the responsibilities and job description for the Varsity Volleyball Head Coach position at Colonial Beach School District?
Head coaches ensure that the players, equipment and facilities are well organized and complete the following duties:
- Schedule daily practice sessions including individual and team practices
- Train and prepare student athletes for sports competition
- Teach skills, techniques and strategies for team play
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of student athletes
- Adhere to rules and policies established by the athletic department and the Virginia High School League (VHSL)
- Inventory and maintain all athletic equipment and facilities
