We are currently recruiting for a Clinician IV position within our Child & Adolescent department. This position will provide direct therapeutic interventions to individuals, families and groups with co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health or developmental disabilities.
Job Responsibilities- Provide individual, family, and group counseling and psychotherapy with children, adolescents and their families.
- Complete assessments, evaluations, diagnosis, and service planning of the population served
- Develop recovery oriented and strength based service plans with measurable objectives.
- Serves as a consultant to other staff and community agencies regarding assessment and diagnosis, coordination of services, and referrals
- Other duties as assigned.
Monday- Friday: Standard Business Hours.
Hybrid schedule (Remote/Work-Site) depending on program needs.
Skills and Qualifications
- Must have the ability to treat co-occurring disorders including knowledge of group counseling techniques, family systems, and motivational interviewing
- Must be able to prepare a comprehensive recovery-oriented treatment plan according to agency guidelines.
- Ability to maintain an objective, professional and calm relationship with individuals and groups in a stressful situation
- One year of providing clinical services to children and their families or providing clinical services to adolescents with co-occurring disorders and their families preferred.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Master’s Degree in a human services field required.
- Must hold a valid license from the Board of Counseling ( LPC, LCSW, LCP, LMFT, or LSATP ) required
DMV record must be submitted with application.
