Job Summary:
Join our Food & Beverage team for the prestigious Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club! We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to fill Food Runner and Buffet Attendant positions. As part of our team, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience for guests, ensuring smooth food service operations, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Food Runner:
- Deliver food orders promptly and accurately from the kitchen to designated areas.
- Assist servers in ensuring all guests receive timely and courteous service.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and communicate with kitchen staff regarding special requests.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean dining environment.
- Uphold food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Buffet Attendant:
- Set up and maintain buffet stations, ensuring all food items are well-stocked and presented attractively.
- Monitor food temperatures and replenish items as needed to ensure freshness and quality.
- Assist guests with inquiries about menu options and dietary restrictions.
- Keep the buffet area clean and organized, promptly addressing spills or food debris.
- Work closely with kitchen and service staff to maintain efficient food flow.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in food service, catering, or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs. for extended periods.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and extended hours during the event.
- Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to providing excellent guest service.
