Overview
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Crew Members to join our golf course maintenance outside services team. As a Crew Member, you will play a vital role in maintaining our golf course grounds and buildings. This position requires working outdoors and a commitment to delivering exceptional results. Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively for various landscaping tasks.
- Conduct grounds keeping duties to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of golf course and facilities .
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Follow safety protocols while handling equipment and working in various weather conditions.
- Able to lift 50 lbs, ability to be on feet for extended periods of time.
- Early morning start times, willingness to take direction from manager and complete tasks as instructed.
- Available to work every other weekend and holidays during golf season (typically only mornings on these days and are counted for overtime plus normal holiday pay)
Skills
- Experience in golf course/ country club maintenance is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in the use of power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
- Knowledge of grounds keeping practices to maintain outdoor spaces effectively.
- Ability to perform course / turf care tasks including fertilization, aeration, and pest control.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of work quality.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
