Colonial Country Club seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the club's facilities. As a valued team member, you will ensure a welcoming and pristine environment for members, guests, and staff across dining areas, meeting rooms, recreational spaces, and other public areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of all public areas, including dining rooms, lounges, restrooms, fitness areas, and event spaces.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors and carpets in high-traffic areas.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness by disinfecting surfaces, touchpoints, and restrooms.
- Empty wastebaskets, dispose of trash, and manage recycling efforts.
- Monitor and replenish housekeeping supplies, reporting shortages to supervisors.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly to management.
- Assist in preparing spaces for events by arranging furniture and ensuring cleanliness before and after functions.
- Work with other staff members to uphold the club’s standards and address member needs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial roles preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with cleaning products, tools, and best practices.
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift objects up to 30 lbs., and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
