Job Summary:
Colonial Country Club is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Swim Coaches to lead and develop our seasonal swim program. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for coaching, mentoring, and fostering a love for swimming in a fun and competitive environment. The Swim Coach will work closely with swimmers of all skill levels, helping them improve their technique, build confidence, and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct swim practices, focusing on technique, endurance, and overall skill development.
- Provide individualized coaching to swimmers of varying abilities.
- Motivate and encourage swimmers to perform at their best while fostering a positive and team-oriented environment.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Organize and oversee swim meets, including coordinating with other teams and managing race-day logistics.
- Communicate effectively with swimmers, parents, and club management regarding schedules, performance, and expectations.
- Maintain accurate attendance and performance records.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous swim coaching experience required, preferably in a competitive setting.
- Knowledge of swim techniques, stroke development, and training strategies.
- CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certifications (or willingness to obtain before the start date).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work with swimmers of all ages and skill levels.
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm for team development.
Background check and drug screen required.
