Colonial Terminals, Inc., (CTI), a wholly owned subsidiary of Colonial Group, Inc., is offering a full-time Operations Engineering internship opportunity at our Savannah, Georgia, terminals during the summer months.
The student intern will gain valuable experience by working directly with industry professionals to analyze and map current customer operation processes. This will involve defining the current state, creating value stream maps, proposing solutions to benefit operators and management, and identifying opportunities to improve revenue capture and prevent losses. This internship offers hands-on experience in terminal operations, providing exposure to steam processes, heat transfer principles, and practical fluid dynamics applications.
This role requires a self-motivated and task-driven individual with mechanical aptitude, data analysis skills, and the ability to present summarized findings to CTI leadership. The internship experience will conclude with a Leadership Luncheon, where all interns present what they’ve learned over the summer to the Senior Leadership Team of Colonial Group, Inc.

Requirements
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or associate’s degree program at an accredited college or trade school OR recent graduate (within 6 months).
- The ability to commute daily to our Savannah, Georgia terminals.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
