Floor Sales Associate

Overview
Colonial Hardware is seeking a floor sales associate. Applicant must have at least 2 years retail experience and must be able to lift 50 lbs. of shipments, have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be available for working on weekends and holidays. On the job applicant will be standing and walking for long periods of time as you meet and help customers with their questions. Interest in home improvement is an added plus.

Dependable, punctual and the willingness to work is key.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet customers
• Organize the store displays and restock
• Answer customer questions and provide recommendations
• General store cleaning
• Check customers out at register
• Understanding of key cutting, paint mixing, household tools and unloading and shelving stock

Skills:

• Effective communicator with lots of different personalities
• Be a friendly “people person”
• Have a willingness to learn, follow directions general computer literacy

Experience:

• Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
