POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary purpose is to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of the residents based on budget, census. You will assist with the scheduling process on the off days. In addition, you are responsible for testing the staff and the residents as needed for CDC guidelines; testing will be completed twice on a weekly basis and includes entering data. You will also function as the Transportaiton Driver, transporting residents to and from scheduled appointments, activity functions, and in emergency transport situations as directed.
Education and Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent is required.
- CNA Preferred
- Must be able to communicate in English and have the ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Valid driver license in good standing as determined by the Community and must be a minimum of twenty-five (25) years of age.
- Must possess and demonstrate the ability to carry out both verbal and written directions.
- Must possess and demonstrate good interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with supervisors, co-workers and community staff in the performance of duties.
- Ability to work hours as scheduled based on the requirements of the position/assignment.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
Experience:
- One (1) year of experience in scheduling at a nursing care facility preferred.
- Computer knowledge is a must.
- Must be Self-motivated, persistent, multi-tasking, and organized.
Shift & Wage:
- Full-Time Opportunity Available
- Shifts Needed: 8:00a-4:30p
- Wage: Based on Experience
