Job Description
We are seeking a responsible, dependable and mature person to join our staff as a House person.
Experience: Previous housekeeping or janitorial related experience is preferred
Criteria:
- Able to facilitate given instructions
- Able to work scheduled shifts required for position
- Dependability and punctuality
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time
- Requires the ability to stand for long periods of time
- Requires the ability to lift moderate weight
Tasks and Job Duties:
- Basic cleaning of hotel pool area; including changing areas, trash, and patio furniture
- Cleaning of all public bathroom areas; including sinks, floors, toilets, trash, and walls
- General cleaning of all departmental offices
- General cleaning of hallways
- General cleaning of lobby and public areas; including vacuuming, dusting, window washing, trash removal, and mopping
- Light cleaning of parking lot area; sweeping and debris removal
- General assistance to front desk for delivery of items to guest’s i.e. toilet paper, towels etc.
- Light maintenance i.e. changing light bulbs, plunging toilets, reprogramming TV’s
- Attend to any seasonal duties when require
