Position Summary: Colonial Life is seeking a motivated and results-driven Area Sales Representative (ASR) to join our team. As an ASR, you will play a key role in driving sales and expanding the company’s footprint within your designated area. You will work with businesses to identify their employee benefits needs and offer tailored insurance solutions, while building strong relationships with clients and managing ongoing accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business by prospecting and identifying potential clients within your assigned area.
- Present and sell Colonial Life’s suite of benefits products to decision-makers within organizations.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct benefits enrollment meetings and assist with employee education on available insurance products.
- Achieve sales goals and contribute to the overall growth of the business.
- Collaborate with team members and support services to deliver seamless service to clients.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
Qualifications:
- Previous sales experience, preferably in the insurance or employee benefits industry.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a drive to succeed and exceed sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Ability to travel within the assigned area.
- Life and Health Insurance License (or willingness to obtain one upon hire).
