What are the responsibilities and job description for the Logistics Coordinator position at Colonial Municipal Group?
Responsibilities:
Our current Logistics Coordinator is moving out of state in May. Looking to for a new candidate to train under our outgoing Logistics Coordinator.
Track and organize vehicle inventory within our municipal division and participating dealerships.
Tracking in-bound inventory and stocking in vehicles .
Maintain vehicle inventory, location, and status.
Coordination of vehicle movement to and from our sublet vendors/customers.
Set daily schedules for our drivers, maximizing their efficiency.
Schedule sublets, confirming purchase orders & pricing.
Receiving sublet purchase orders upon completion of work.
Maintaining daily communication with logistics manager and staff in both Marlborough and Plymouth.
Clearly communicating with our customers and assisting them with their needs in a timely professional manner
Provide updated information to our management team with weekly conference meetings.
Maintain lot organization at our Plymouth storage locations.
Maintain key organization. Tagging keys with the appropriate job number and customer information. Completing “Delivery Card” information. Logging vehicle movements.
Doing cycle counts for small parts room.
Receiving/stocking parts
Adjusting/Issuing/Staging Inventory
Filming vehicles of completed builds. Doing Quality control for sublets.
Experience:
Previous experience in logistics or a related field is preferred.
Proficient using various computer software, such as Microsoft Excel and networking interfaces.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with internal teams and external partners.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Must have a valid Drivers License with a clean record.
