Join Our Team! Part-Time Activities Aide Needed at Foxden Retirement Community
Are you passionate about engaging seniors in fun and stimulating activities? Foxden Retirement Community is seeking an enthusiastic and caring Activities Aide to join our team on a part-time basis. Help us create a vibrant and supportive environment for our residents while working Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in planning and executing daily recreational and social activities for residents.
- Support the activities coordinator in organizing events and group outings.
- Engage residents in games, crafts, music, and other recreational pursuits.
- Ensure a safe and enjoyable environment during all activities.
- Communicate effectively with residents, family members, and staff.
What We’re Looking For:
- A genuine passion for working with seniors and enhancing their quality of life.
- Prior experience in recreational therapy, elder care, or a similar role (preferred but not required).
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and energetic attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a dynamic team.
