What are the responsibilities and job description for the Life Enrichment Aide (Full-time) position at Colonial Poplin?
Colonial Poplin Skilled Nursing Facility and Poplin Way Assisted Living Community is looking for a Life Enrichment Aide on a full-time basis to join our Life Enrichment Department. The position is benefit-eligible and is forty hours a week. The shift is scheduled 9 : 00am-5 : 00pm with two consecutive days off.
Experience with the elderly within senior living is preferred but is not required. We are willing to train and provide hands-on experience and teaching working with our small but diverse population that share an all-hands-on-deck approach.
Pay rates starts at $16.00 an hour and are negotiable based on experience along with finding the right fit for our community! There is a $2.00 weekend differential and a $500.00 sign-on bonus in increments of six month and at one year in good standing. There are also pay in-lieu options if health and employee benefits are not desired.
Example of duties include but are not limited to :
Lead programs in large groups, small groups, and individualized basis all while meeting their needs from a wide variety such as creative, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs within our skilled nursing, long-term care unit, and assisted living community.
Provide escort to resident / client to programs, set-up / take down from functions, maintain work area, complete assessments / documentation in a timely manner, and other duties as informed by direct supervisor.
