Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in accordance with our menu and food safety standards. Your culinary expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our customers.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals according to monthly menus
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with menu planning and development
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Cook or similar role in the food industry
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Familiarity with menu planning and recipe creation
- Strong understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Skills:
- Food handling expertise
- Proficient in various cooking techniques
- Experience as a Dietary Aide is a plus
- Knowledge of menu planning principles
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Knife skills for food preparation
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation
Position Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 9AM-7PM.
Hour lunch break each day.
Wages DOE
Job Type: Part-time
