**Job Title: Medication Aide**

We are seeking a dedicated Medication Aide to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in the administration of medications to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed healthcare professional. As a Medication Aide, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our patients by accurately dispensing medications and providing compassionate care.

**Responsibilities:**

- Administer medications to patients according to prescribed dosages and schedules

- Monitor and record patients' vital signs

- Assist in maintaining accurate medical documentation and records

- Provide support in activities related to patient care, including assisting with daily living activities

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of patient care

- Implement proper infection control measures

- Support individuals with developmental disabilities in medication management

- Provide dementia care as needed

**Skills:**

- Proficient in medical terminology and documentation

- Experience working in hospital, home care, or similar healthcare settings

- Familiarity with PointClickCare or other medical record systems

- Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to take vital signs accurately and efficiently
