Job Description
The Bank Loan Administration Manager will be responsible for the coordination of bank operations functions in accordance with established systems and procedures. This position will facilitate loan closings by preparing loan documents, maintaining lines of communication, clearing exceptions and providing administrative support for the Relationship Managers.
Responsibilities include:
- Manages SBA reporting and servicing
- Loan origination documentation expertise for Commercial and Consumer Loans
- Loan file documentation and maintenance
- Tracking and reporting Credit and Collateral Exceptions
- Lead coordinator for bank core system loan issues
- Co-manages internal and external audits for the loan servicing area
- Ensure compliance with bank regulations, internal bank policies and internal controls
- Generate, analyze and administer management reporting
- Loan Project Leader for system projects and conversions
- Responsible for numerous reconcilements in bank operations area
- Responsible for tracking of data and preparation of weekly and monthly reports
- Assures compliance and procedure quality control and recommends corrective action
- Maintains knowledge of security and safety policies and established procedures
- Assumes responsibility for special projects, gather data and prepares reports
- Works closely with the Bank Operations SVP to ensure effective communication with bank staff for implementation of all policy and procedures changes
- Supports and backups FDICIA testing, reconciliations, and branch audits in the operational area
- Manages Commercial and Consumer Loan Servicing staff
- Prepare commercial loan documents, examine and review documents for accuracy and completeness
- Work with title companies, attorneys and Relationship Managers to facilitate loan closings
- Support Relationship Managers with closings, past due and clearing loan exceptions
- Perform administrative duties for Relationship Managers
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- 10 years of experience in commercial processing/closing
- 3 years of supervisory experience
- Understanding of all phases of commercial real estate lending – from origination to processing/loan documentation to closing
- Thorough knowledge of loan documentation
- Ability to interact effectively with title companies, attorneys and Relationship Managers to facilitate loan closings
- In depth knowledge of bank loan servicing operations and standard operating procedures for the Small Business Administration
- Ability to process account activity, determine balances and resolve problems within given authority
- Ability to create reports on H360 report writer
- Knowledge of LaserPro system preferred
- Able to answer questions and direct callers to proper Bank staff
- Ability to interact with banking staff, IT and service providers
- Advanced organizational and time management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Computer proficiency, including Word and Excel
- Ability to perform multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic, fast paced working environment
