Colonial Security Services is seeking a vigilant and experienced Logistics Gate Security Officer to join our team. The Logistics Gate Security Officer will play a crucial role in maintaining security protocols and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics gate.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor incoming and outgoing traffic at the logistics gate.
- Verify the identity of drivers and visitors entering the premises.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles, cargoes, and personnel as necessary.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures.
- Report any security breaches, suspicious activities, or safety hazards to appropriate authorities.
- Collaborate with other security personnel and departments to maintain a secure environment.
- Provide excellent customer service to drivers and visitors while upholding security standards.
- Assist with emergency response procedures, including evacuations and crisis management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid TX Guard Card REQUIRED
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Familiarity with security equipment and procedures.
- Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
