Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our team for new military facility construction. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred. The ideal candidate will have expertise in steel design, pipe rack structures, and structural analysis using STAAD.
Candidates should be able to apply for a Secret Clearance once they start work. Per diem programs are available for out-of-town workers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural design and analysis for new and existing pipe rack structures.
- Utilize STAAD for structural analysis.
- Design steel connections, including bolted and welded connections.
- Design new pipe racks and review or check completed designs.
- Develop and review engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 7-10 years of structural design experience.
- Proficiency in STAAD for structural analysis.
- Experience with pipe rack design.
- Strong understanding of steel connection design (bolted and welded).
- Familiarity with industry codes, including AISC, ACI, and ASCE.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
