Duties
- Review and analyze title documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, and clients to gather necessary information for loan processing.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the title processing workflow.
- Prepare contracts and other legal documents related to property transactions.
- Conduct basic math calculations to verify financial figures associated with loans and escrow accounts.
- Assist in the underwriting process by providing required documentation and information.
- Maintain organized records of all transactions and communications related to titles.
- Communicate effectively with all parties involved in the transaction to resolve any issues that may arise.
Qualifications
- Experience in loan origination or mortgage servicing is preferred.
- Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
- Knowledge of escrow processes and underwriting practices is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic math skills for financial calculations related to loans and contracts.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications used in title processing is advantageous.
