Responsibilities
- Assist with serving meals and snacks to residents while ensuring dietary restrictions are met.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and common areas.
- Respond promptly to resident requests and provide comfort items as needed.
- Assist residents with non-medical personal care tasks when appropriate.
- Support nursing staff with essential tasks and coordination of care.
- Help residents with mobility and transport within the facility as needed.
- Participate in resident activities and provide companionship to enhance resident experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or hospitality setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with residents and families.
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, compassion, and sensitivity in a healthcare environment.
- Basic understanding of hygiene and safety protocols in resident care settings.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
